Features

It can fit on a desk or on a shelf or any other tiny spot. There is up to 1200 dpi like output. The HP LaserJet print cartridge is authentic and durable. It is sufficiently flexible to cater to all the office printing requirements. A large range of operating systems are supported. There is easy access for simple replacement. The printer installation is made easy due to high speed USB connectivity.

Monthly volume

The print speed, black for the best quality mode is up to 15 ppm. The print speed, black for normal quality mode is up to 15 ppm. Duty cycle is the maximum number of pages per month of image output. It is a measure of the robustness of the product. The monthly duty cycle is up to 5000 pages. It is recommended that the monthly print volume be 250 to 2000 pages. This is essential for optimum device performance. The processor speed is 234 MHz.

Print technology

Laser print technology is used. There is only one black cartridge. The resolution technology is Ret, HP FastRes 1200. The print quality, black is up to 600 X 600 dpi.

Connectivity

The standard connectivity is Hi-speed USB 2.0 port. It is not compatible with Macintosh. The standard print drivers are host based. The operating system may be Windows 2000 or XP. A 90 MHz Pentium may be connected. There must be 120 MB free hard disk space (10 MB minimum installed). There must be a CD-ROM drive. The USB port must be compatible with USB 2.0.

The standard envelope input is up to 15 envelopes. The standard as well as maximum paper tray is one along with single sheet priority input slot. The standard paper handling input is single sheet priority feed slot and 150 sheet input tray. The standard paper handling output is 100 sheet face down bin. The media types are postcards, transparencies, cardstock, labels, envelopes and paper (photo, plain, laser). The standard media sizes are envelopes (Monarch, No.10), postcards, executive, legal and letter. The custom media sizes are as follows – for input slot 3 x 5 to 8.5 x 14 inches – for main tray 5.8 x 8.27 to 8.5 x 14 inches.
